Hi I'm looking for a soft sided pet carrier (airline approved) for my bichon dog as I'm planning an upcoming trip. The carrier must meet Air Canada's following guidelines Height: 27 cm (10.5 in) Width: 40 cm (15.5 in) Length: 55 cm (21.5 in)

Hi,  Just make sure you can take your bichon with you on the plane.  I bought a soft sided carrier as required and at the airport they demanded i make the dog stand up and turn around in it.  He couldn't stand straight but he had plenty of room for the 2 hour flight but they denied him.  I have a carrier and perhaps your dog is shorter than mine..you can have it for $20.  I ended up flying him in a hard carrier underneath.  I was told it all depends on the airline clerk that is on.
